How to setup google analytics account?

The first thing that needs to be added to Google Analytics on your website is to have a Google Account. If you do not already have one, you are comfortable with your website, get one here.

First, you need to create a Google Analytics account. To do so, visit the Analytics sign-up page.

You will see a screen similar to below. If you already have a Google or Gmail account, you can use it to sign-in. If you do not have a Gmail account, then you have to create an account for yourself.

Once you are signed in to your gmail account, you will be prompted on the screen below. This is where you will sign up for your account with Google Analytics.

On the next screen, you will be given the option to choose between a website or mobile application. Make sure you choose a website.

After this, you must enter an account name (the name of the google analytics profile for this website), the name of the website, the URL of the website, the country and time zone.

Once you have entered this information, click the “Get Tracking IDbutton. You will be presented with the Google Analytics rules and service that you agree to, so click on the I agree on the button.

You will get your tracking code displayed as screenshots below. You can copy-paste it into your blogger.
